 Ross Henderson
Fort Rupert
Ross Henderson was born in Alert Bay. His ancestors are from the Henderson family from Campbell River and the Whonnock family from Fort Rupert. Ross and his brother Jonathon Henderson began carving at a young age, watching and learning from one another. Ross is a Kwagulth artist. His great grandfather is Gidion Whonnock. Ross has been carving on and off for about twenty years. He carves paddles, plaques and masks. Ross has also worked as a diver and done millwork. He currently resides in Fort Rupert.
